Elsie is 1-month old!

In my office trying to write while attending to 1-month old. Elsie is getting much more attention than is Tess. Not making much progress on the manuscript, because we are too busy showing each other our muscles. Elsie is 1-month old today!

Father's Day Fun

Nice little Father's Day here. I fled all fatherly responsibility and spent the day at the gym and at Starbuck's with my manuscript. Bad dad day.

Elsbeth is 1-week old today!

She's here!

Elsbeth (Elsie) Alice Hecimovich was born at 9:29 PM on Wednesday 27 May.  9 lbs 6 ounces.  21 inches.  Christy was amazing and pushed for over 3 hours at the end of a long, long labor, but Elsie couldn't make it past the pubic bone.  She was born via C-section.  Resting and recovery and all the other fun begins now!
